Ringing for the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla Saturday 6th May 2023

   





The Bells of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Barnham Broom, rang at 10am ahead of the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

 The bells at Reymerston and Yaxham also rang out at 10am and those at Garvestone at 4pm.

 The ringing at Barnham Broom is recorded on Bellboard

Ringing before the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 19th September 2022

 

Ringing of the Barnham Broom bells before the state funeral of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The bells of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Barnham Broom rang fully muffled from 10am on Monday 19th September before the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The bells could be heard from the Village Hall.

Ringing before the service of remembrance and thanksgiving for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II 18th September 2022

 Ringing of the Barnham Broom bells to welcome the congregation to the service of remembrance and thanksgiving for Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The bells of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Barnham Broom rang to welcome the congregation to the service of remembrance and thanksgiving for Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday 18th September at which Sir Richard Jewson offered the reflection.

Four of the bells were fully muffled with the tenor bell half muffled.

Ringing of the Barnham Broom bells on the first evening of the lying in state of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Westminster Hall.

The bells of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Barnham Broom rang on the first evening of the lying in state of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in Westminster Hall.

Four of the bells were fully muffled with the tenor bell half muffled so you hear one clear ring at the end of the round.

The bells will ring in the same way ahead of the service of remembrance and thanksgiving on Sunday.

Service of remembrance and thanksgiving for Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday 18th September 2022

 


We will hold a service of remembrance and thanksgiving for the late Queen on Sunday 18th September at 9:30am in Barnham Broom Church, at which Sir Richard Jewson will offer the reflection. All are most welcome to attend.

UPDATE: 

Mrs Sara Harrold has very kindly offered the use of the farmyard beyond the church for parking on Sunday. 

If you would please park in the farmyard if at all possible, to avoid blocking the track.
